MyPetLife
An all-round pet management app for iOS and Android — pet profiles, veterinary records, medications, feeding and a photo journal, in one place.
Why I built it
I wanted one honest record of my dog’s life instead of a drawer of vaccination cards and a phone full of photos with no dates on them. Every pet app I tried was either a single-purpose reminder or wanted a subscription for the privilege of holding my own data.
The problem
Pet care gets scattered the moment you have more than one animal, or more than one vet. Vaccination dates live on paper, medication schedules in your head, weight history nowhere, and the booster that matters is the one nobody wrote down.
What I was using before
Notes on my phone, paper vaccination cards from the vet, and reminders set by hand. Nothing talked to anything else, and nothing survived changing phones.
What it does
- Pet profiles — several animals, each with their own record
- Veterinary and vaccination tracking, with booster reminders
- Medications with dosing schedules
- Feeding logs and weight history
- A photo journal, so the record is also a memory
Where it is now
Live. Shipped to the App Store and in real hands — the first of my projects to get there. Free, with no subscription. It runs in a browser too if you would rather not install anything.
Who it might interest
Anyone with a pet and more than one thing to remember about it. Also anyone curious whether a single person can still ship an app to a store in 2026 — the answer is yes, and this is the proof.
